n. A term used to describe any form of aquatic life that can be found in a humourus image macro. The most famous lolrus is also known as the Bucket Walrus, which is the main character of the bucket saga. Also a term used by internet goers who wish to “lol” but stand out at the same time. Other creations by said internet goers are the “Roflcopter” and the “Roflmaool”.

• The word was initially coined many years ago by an anonymous user on the *chans (an online group of anonymous people).
• This word has since grown and evolved into meaning slightly different contexts and memes. It has since spread through many forums, and online communities such as somethingawful, ebaumsworld and into many different meanings.
• Throughout this all the tone of Caturday remains the same: POST SOME ******* CAT PICTURES.

1. an honorary distinction is used in cheezburgerland to raise a lolfrenz distinction in title. (honorary distinctions do not come with powers to modify the website)
2. an honorary burger, honorary nugget, and honorary fry are icons, graphics and wordpress.com accounts that our lolfrenz have created to show their support for I CAN HAS CHEEZBURGER?

• honorary burgerlet - a donator who requests they be listed as a burgerlet is granted an honorary distinction
• honorary nuggetlet - a donator who requests they be listed as a higher level lolfren but who have not met the contribution guidelines. Sometimes we grant a honorary title for the sake of alliteration, and sound better… ex. gnarly nugget may sound better than gnarly fry

1. noun - A visitor to the site. Frequently participates in comments. Submitter of lolcats to the burgers. Frys have french fry icons… You can change your name to fry and be a honorary fry!

nugget - (nuh-gut)

1. noun - A helper on the site. Frequent commenter. Frequent contributor. Nuggets have nugget icons… You can change your name to nugget and be a honorary nugget!

soder - (sew-der)

1. noun - A helper on the site, helps add tags, clean up posts, approve stuff to front page, remove objectionable pix… helps to keep things nice and neat. Very big responsibility.

burger - (ber-ger)

1. noun - One of the lucky few who work on the site, approve submissions, stay up late, moderate, help keep the community going.
2. verb - When you vote on a picture, you “burger” it. Burgers come in 5 denominations…
   5 Burgers = LOL SO MUCH AWSUM!!!

lolfrenz - (lawl-frenz)

1. noun - People like me and you who love ICHC (I CAN HAS CHEEZBURGER?). These are also the people who comment, submit pictures to us, and who are fans of the site.
