Before submitting please read this, submitting a pic to us assumes u agreed to da followins user submissions policy:

We lurvs jpg/jpeg/gif/png pix da most — resized to 500 px = v much awsum.
- Plz use The Cheezburger Factory to submit ur photos and capshuns.
(We’re no longer accepting lol* via email. Sry, just too many!) - Then we will screen dem and put some of dem on the voting page.
- Then we put a few most awesum ones on the front page. (yeah!)
Please give us some time to review… we receives > 500 submissions a day (and post 5 on da homepage) if u does maths — divided by two people, subtract lunch, add bathroom breaks, multiply by twenty moonwalks (michael jackson kind) around the city, square root the feeding of pets… equals one-point-twenty-one-jiggawatts worth of tired, but thankful burgers… 
. So plz understand dat we can’ts write everyone who wrote in — but we luvs every1 who writes us! XOXO

just wanted to say that i’m not a big fan of the revamp. it’s fine except for the extra side bar on the left. that’s quite annoying because i have to scroll back & forth to see everything each time i get a new page. thanks!

When you submit, it says “Thank you for your comment!”. Please tell us that when we browse->attach->waitwithbatedbreath that our files are actually uploaded etc?

I know we’re sending these through to a gmail account which makes it difficult to have an auto-responder say “thanks, we got your submission” but boy it’d be nice to get a confirmation message saying “thanks, we got your submission”.
Also, you don’t say whether we should send each entry as a separate Email or if we can send you a bunch at a time. And what happens to the entries you don’t accept? And do you only look at “yesterdays” entries, or is there some way you can tell us how far behind you are? (ie if you’re still looking at entries from a month ago, then I won’t feel so left out that my recent entries haven’t even been looked at yet)

I sent in about 20 lolcats pix with captions (written by me) by using Gordon’s lolcat builder. Some of these I sent in at least 2 weeks ago. I haven’t seen any of them here yet. Do submissions from Gordon’s site get onto this site, really? How can I know what is happening to them? I don’t have other software to make the captioned photos, so what should I do now?

“Is mah birfday, where r caek?” and “up to mah herbls in kibbls”it’s a hit and miss thing though, there are thing’s i’ve submitted i thought were hilarious but chances are the joke was either too insider or obscure to my own interests, so they don’t all make it on to the main stage in the land of ICHC

When we submit a lolcat, are we supposed to get an email telling us the submission was received? I’ve made submissions, and I get no email, and my submissions never show up on the voting page. I that ever happens is that I get sent to the Photobucket version of my submission, but then nothing else ever happens with it.
It’s like I’m sending things off into outer space or something.

We’re working to improve our submission system. Kitteh workers are to be replaced by robo-kitteh. We get way more than we use on a daily basis, but we will eventually go thru all of ur submits. We promises. There’s a backlog of a mountain of pix, but we are working on creating more ways to share them.

How long, on average, does it take between submitting a LOLcat via TCF and having said LOLcat make the voting page? I am trying not to be impatient, but it would be easier if I had a general idea of how long it takes!

I have the same problem as summer…I’ve posted pics and they immediately disappear never to be seen again, not even on the recent uploads. The pics are nice safe and wholesome so What’s up with the disappearing photos?

Nice. Spend some time on a submission, hit ’save’, and it says “By saving you agree to terms and conditions”. Click on terms and conditions, and it wipes out my whole submission and takes me here. Guess I won’t submit anything, then.
