How to make lol* pix:
- Go to our lolcat builder
- Pick a picture or upload funny pic of a cat/dog/walrus/hamster/human/ that u own
(the kittehs prefer: clear, larger images (larger teh better) they also hate animal abuse. that’s a no-no.) - Write a capshun. need tips? try current events, pop culture references, movies, songs.
- Originality is moar better.
- Clear and concise ’cause kittehs have short attenshun… Ooh, catnip!
- No profanity *gasp* pleez.
- And click “Save & Submit”. OR:
- If you don’t want to submit it, you can just press “Save”
- After reviewing your photo will be on the voting page. Not all submits make it. But feel free to email ur lol* to friends! Our lolcat builder provides free image hosting and a page for your image.

Just wondering… what is your criteria for “funny”? I have submitted a few that I thought were quite lolworthy, but they didn’t make the voting page, yet I see a bunch of pix on the voting page that leave me feeling unamused. What’s up?

Well..If your picture already has a caption on it, you can just go to the builder and submit it without adding a new caption, and I don’t think that people will over-write the caption if it’s already there.

Oh hai ! I uploaded a lolcat like three days ago and I still haven’ t seen it on the voting page. WTF ?
Not to mention I made a copy of my lolcat and posted on a forum and people found it very funny ( some even said it is the best one ever ! ), so I assume it IS funny, rite ?
Ahh, I’ve had the same problem. I’ve made and submitted like 50+ lolcats [it's addicting!] and none of them have made it to the voting page at all… I was wondering if there’s a certain amount of time we should wait for a response, but I first submitted my first like 20 a couple weeks ago.. Eh well. I’m still addicted, so I’ll keep trying. xD
Ditto, I used to think I just wasn’t funny, but I’ve noticed that virtual duplicates get posted on the voting page, so that can’t be it.
That JUST happened to me today. =/ I submitted a pic yesterday which never made it to the voting page, and then today a virtually identical caption to the same pic made it. I wonder if Firefox submissions never make it for review?

I tried to make a lolcat, but teh picshur dissappeard when i tried to preview teh font.
