   They’re just in the wrong places. You know, those people who think it’s cool to have a tiger as a pet and then realize oh yeah! It’s a wild animal.

   It’s not that simple. Sure, you’ve got deforestation and encroaching urban development to deal with as well as poaching, but you aren’t going to solve the problem by throwing money at some random “Save the Tigers” organization.
   To stop the deforestation you need to give the logging companies an economically feasable alternative, or you’re going to put thousands of people out of work (and I don’t mean just the guys who actualy go out there to cut down the trees).
   To stop urban encroachment…well you won’t, deal with it. As an economy expands, so to must it’s infrustructure or it will collapse on itself.
   To stop poaching, well it’s a radical idea but maybe you should actually encourage turning the tiger into a cash crop? The American bison was on the brink of extinction some 100 years ago. What changed? We started eating them. Now that the bison was viable economic commodity it was in the best interest of businessmen and ranchers to both maintain a healthy population and protect them from poaching. You may not like the sound of it, but capitalism actually helped save the bison.

   I know, it’s a crazy idea, but it’s worked before. Why couldn’t it work again?

     So you’re saying; promote tiger hunting as a commercial activity so businessmen can breed captive tigers to be hunted?

   Humans don’t deserve to have Tigers anyway. What do the Chinese do? They breed them just to skin them. They skin cats, dogs, raccoons, etc, ALIVE without killing them first. Do you think mankind really deserves to have animals after that? No. GOD is taking them away from us because we are cruel to them.

   Not captive tigers, WILD ones!, ALLOW them to reexpand BACK into suitable territories, SHOOT POACHERS ON SIGHT & put in prison anyone caught with tiger pelts, bones, penises, meat, any &/or all parts of the tiger.
   Find something chemically equivalent to the bones, meat & other parts of the tiger AND introduce it to the Asian population to take the pressure OFF the tiger, they use ground tiger bones & other parts in holistic & ancient Chinese formulas that the Doctors prescribe, its been used for 4 to 5,000 years like this, you have to change the system to save the tiger!!
   Right now poachers are going after Rhino Horns in MUSEUMS, they’re cutting the horns off of exibits, as a result the museums are putting on FAKE horns that will sell for NOTHING on the black market, they are finding ways to get at even the Game Preserves in Africa, they use AK-47′s to kill instantly to get the horn when they get close enough!!
   Both the gouund rhino horn & the tiger penis are considered aphrodesiacs, we need to reeducate them with Viagra to STOP the poaching!!
