You’d rather he be in the wild getting slaughtered by poachers? Zoos are keeping animals like this from extinction. Look at the java rhino; they’re now extinct in Vietnam because of poachers. They are listed as being critically endangered and the poaching of them TRIPLED over the course of TWO years. Zoos are their only hope. It’s the same with many endangered species.
