How appropriate! I took a break from writing my dissertation to look at kyoot kittehs and this was the first one to load! (After writing in academic-ese for several hours, my brain hurts too much to try to do full LOL-speak… sorry!)

Ohai, Cinna! No thesis/ dissertation is ever done on time! Mine should have been done months ago but life (and a cranky gallbladder that decided it wanted to be surgically removed rather than stay with me) interfered. There’s no shame here… just a very cute and clever LOL. I’m going to print it out to tape above my desk!

Yes, I’m fine now; thank you for asking. But it was a pretty harrowing few weeks when I thought I was dying after the gallbladder attacks. It’s now sitting in a jar of goo somewhere, so it can’t hurt me anymore! My kitteh knew I was sick, though, and kept coming to check on me when I was in the bedroom. He’d jump up, examine me, pat my leg or arm with his little paw and then just down and go away. So cute! Kitteh nursing care was better than the real kind. If only he could learn to administer pain meds, we could revolutionize medicine! Dr. Tiny Cat and Nurse Kitteh.
glad to hear it! & yes, feline medicine is great. 1 time i went to bed w/stomach cramps, & lil came & curled up against my belly & purred–a furry, vibrating heating pad! of course, it all depends on whether they feel like administering treatment, & they don’t always….

My Bengal kitteh, Leonidas Sparticus Rex, thinks that my sitting at my desk with my laptop is an invitation for him to come and lie down on the laptop so I can rub his belly. He’s too cute to get mad at, but it’s hard to get any work done when he’s awake and draped across my computer! So I have to wait for his nappy time to get work done.

Omg, bad kitteh. BAD KITTEH!!! Thesis is a boo-boo word especially with the word ‘finish’ in the same sentence. And if the sentence ends with a question mark, I’z passin’ out!!!
