Does no one else find this not at all cute or funny? Why have those hypothetical cats not been fixed? Millions of cats die each year in shelters because there’s not enough room for them. More die from starvation, getting hit by cars, predators, etc…
Thank you! I was trying to sift through all the nonsense here to see if anyone else felt the same as I did when they saw this. Apparently we are the minority. I don’t find this funny at all. Glad to see someone else gets it.
But…do you see the problem comes in as soon as you say “hypothetical cats”? I mean, you’re butthurt about things that don’t even really exist in the context you’re speaking about them.

This problem DOES really exist, and joking about it makes people think that the issue isn’t as important. People who visit this site love cats, and we’re the ones who have the ability to DO SOMETHING GOOD for them. If we don’t step up and take care of them, how can we expect the people who don’t spend their time looking at cute pictures of them to think twice about the issue? This situation may be hypothetical, but I assure you that there are thousands of very real situations just like it right now.

Oh, yeah, generations upon generations of unspayed and unneutered cats who live their lives starving, producing babies to be preyed upon my wild animals, and probably die of FeLuk like 90% of the feral cat population around here. Funny as hell. Let’s all yuk it up.
