    I think this is cute, it looks like if the donkey waas to tired to continue and instead of abusing the animal the man pull the cart home himself,, animal kindness always a win

    Isn’t this the folktale about the old man, his son, and the donkey who keep swapping around who is carrying or pulling the others until the old man is carrying them both and gets thoroughly laughed at when he gets to town? And the moral of the story is, if you try to please everyone, you end up pleasing no-one and looking like a jacka–?

      That’s EXACTLY what I was thinking!

      Although, didn’t the donkey die from being dropped in a river when the father & son were carrying it between them tied to a pole (because they couldn’t lift it otherwise)?

      It’s a sad tale for the donkey; I like the movie version (lol!) better. Besides, carts are more ergonomic for the humans involved.
