   *this just in* NPR news…
   At a zoo in western Germany, a baby African Penguin decided to go for a walk through a lion’s den. As reported by Der Spiegel, the tiny bird escaped its habitat and started waddling through the lion enclosure. Fortunately, the lions were asleep. Zookeepers guided the penguin to safety using a trail of herrings.

    Would the kitteh have trouble with his/her teeth? Maybe the cat thought it would help to soften the kibble by putting it in water first?

      My kitteh did this her whole life, from a few weeks old til she passed away 16 years later. Her teeth were fine, had preventative dental cleanings and the works. She just liked to dunk. First time I’ve ever seen another cat do it.

    Aw, that takes me back. My kitteh used to do that all the time. Close to 15 years. He’d do it even if there was wet food right next to the dry, too.
