Suddenly ALL of my posts are stuck in moderation. And I’ve been posting on ICHC for years. Is that happening to anyone else?
ut oh! are they showing up eventually? or disappearing into outside space? The chat filter seems to be set unnecessarily high for quite a while now, the most innocent words or statements are getting moderated and discarded if they contain a run of letters that even MIGHT lead to naughty words. It is one of the things they’ve promised to work on….
Yes, they show up eventually. But I don’t understand why it’s happening to all of my posts. I can’t accidentally be saying something inappropriate every time I open my mouth (figuratively speaking).
I haven’t had that problem yet (*knocks wood*), but I know the last time I did it was because they filtered a portion of my user-name ’cause it’s the first three letters of “the N word.” I could post here, but not on FailBlog (or was it the reverse???) with my normal name, but had to use a different name on the other site.
At least this post made it through!
It made it through after being in moderation for a half hour.
I must be more sheltered and naive than I realized, because I can’t think of any naughty words that might be construed from anything I’ve posted.
That’s a pretty strict filter! I wonder if there’s a way for the Cheez people to lighten the filter up, or if it’s being universally applied across all WordPress sites. Moderation has become a problem on Cute Overload, too, which I believe is also using WordPress.
