isn’t it obvious that this animal has probably been wild caught as a baby (with it’s mother shot) and used as a “tourist attraction”. They do not survive well in captivity and i shudder to think about what it has/will suffer. THIS TRADE IS DUSGUSTINGG AND SHOULD BE STAMPED OUT, NEVER TAKE PICTURES OF BEACH HAWKERS PEDDLING ANIMALS! And dont pay them either its encouragement sheesh!
Ermm….While that’s a POSSIBLE scenario, you can’t know that for sure simply by looking at this picture.
That is ONE scenario in at least a dozen that could explain a baby sloth on the beach.
