In late May, four Pallas cats were born at the Wildlife Heritage Foundation in the U.K. Pallas cats are about the size of your normal domestic cat but they are rounder, fluffier and have short ears. They used to be hunted for their thick fur, but the Pallas cats are now protected by organizations like the Wildlife Heritage Foundation. Check out this adorable video of these Pallas kittehs at seven weeks old. Squee alert!

Fortunately the status in IUCN 3.1 is “only” NT (Near Threatened), this means that the wild population is still large. The protected status has been issued not only because of the overexploitation of the population but also because they are considered beneficial for environment and agriculture.
I guess it’s the fur of this cat what we see in many of these parkas used by hop-hoppers nowadays (besides of course of domestic cat and dog fur).
Just sorry that wearing this type of stuff doesn’t produce an incurable form of extremely painful and disfiguring cancer.

All of you HAVE to go to the pallas cat kittens site and check them out in the 8 week old stuff…the bit 22 seconds in to week 8 part 1 will kill you with cuteness….the kitten is actually waving at the camera person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These kitties are lil heartbreakers!!

well, sorry to say, but pallas cats are still hunded in Middle Asia and Russia for example. and their fur is really cheap. and the government of course doesn`t give a whatever.cause in some countries nobody cares for the people. and why will they care for cats
