I really hope there’s a good reason for this little kitteh to be alone and not still with mother and siblings (if any).

The kitten in question, Ziggy, is in fact still with his mother, Zoraline; she’s just taking a break. The video submitter is fostering them both, and feeding him supplemental formula because Zora can’t produce enough milk. There are no siblings.

I had a squeaky kitty once. But, he growed up. Now, he’s an 11-year-old 30+ pound Maine Coon.

I am concerned about this tiny baby. I had a litter with 2 kitties born with cleft palates. One died almost immediately, the other lived 4 horrible days & sounded JUST like this after trying to nurse from mom or me trying to bottle feed. It was the sound of it DROWNING in milk going up into its sinuses & then down into its lungs through the hole in the roof of its mouth. It was a horrible death. I hope this isn’t the case with this baby. Best of luck to you and baby !

Baby and mommy are being taken care of by a very experienced kitten rescuer. Unfortunately, mommy does not produce enough milk so the little guy is being fed supplemental formula.

That’s just how he sounded for the first couple of weeks. He turned 4 weeks old yesterday, and his mews are now more kitten-like. He’s very cute – you can see tons more of him (and mama) on my youtube stream
