ICHC is hiring, and mod pay is cheap, less than $9/hr, so munnies aren’t my concern. My love of this site IS.
There are ellebenty millyun of you out there who know the donkey has been here a long, long time, understanding the cheezpeeps.
Here’s my plan: I am extremely internet saavy, but it doesn’t show up on my resume. If you would like to see me be a mod, please respond under this post, and I will use it in my application, as a plea for consideration.

I think you have the qualities and knowledge that make a good moderator, be it for this site or any other. I participate in numerous chats/forums and am familiar with what would possibly be required of a moderator, and I cannot think of anything that you lack in that regard. You have been around ICHC much longer than I have, and although I have not participated as much lately as I once did, I see that you are consistently here. You provide insight, comedy and a thoughtfulness that the Big Cheezes would do well to find useful.

After I did this plea for support, I felt ashamed. I thought about all the other Cheezfrends who felt similarly and might not apply.
I attention hogged this thread, and you know what? A lot of the love I get is because of that Shrek Donkey face. People love that donkey. I knew that and used that when I first chose that avatar, cause *I* wanted to be loved. I desperately needed it. and I was smart enough to know that by giving love, you get it back. And it worked. and I spread that message, and will continue to.
I have been a terrible ham and attention hog. I used that to my benefit yesterday, and now I am a little ashamed. I am also very in awe of all the support.
But every cheezfrend who is quiet and not so hammy deserves just as much consideration. And you will get it: the Cheezes will look at techy knowledge and experience, and I don’t have formal experience. this could all be for nothing. And that is okay. I believe God has a plan for all of us, and whoever gets the job, that is THE ONE WHO SHOULD HAVE IT, for His reasons.
Let me just say, if another Cheezfrend gets this job, I will be in front of the Cheering Squad.

There isn’t a better choice for moderator than our dear Kafleen. The donkey has been here forever and knows the history and people of ICHC. She knows all of the story lines, how everything started, and how it has evolved. She has also seen the multitude of people that have come and gone. She is one of the most observant people that I’ve ever known, and she can see what is really going on below the surface.

She is not just a fair weather cheez peep that is only here for the laughs and steps away when there is trouble. While Kafleen has never stirred up trouble herself, she does not shy away or hesitate to step in when she sees trouble. If anyone is ever attacked, Kafleen is always there to step in with her brave hoofs, and stop trouble before it gets out of hand. She steps in with a firm hoof, but in a way that never feeds the flames. Her wonderful sense of humor never fails to lighten the mood and keep things light, even when there is someone trying to bring everyone down.
