About 15 years ago, there was an item for sale called “bed buddy”. It’s about 12″ long with sort of rope-like handles on each end and filled with I’m not sure what (smells almost like oatmeal when warm). But you can heat it in the microwave 2-4 minutes and cover it with a separate elastic-type sleeve. You can use it around neck, back, where ever it’s sore or painful. I bought two of them and they are still great.
