O hai, cheezfrens! Ai gots ur bak! *turning off lol* Too many people are supposed to be deliriously happy during the holidays per the ads, commercials and other things that says we are supposed to be. Well, it is a lie. The holidays no matter your faith are stressful enough without commercial messages we are supposed to be happy. What happens is that we find ourselves depressed, then we get depressed because we are supposed to be happy, then we are depressed because commercialization say we are to be happy-happy and then we find we are depressed and the cycle is vicious. Please to forget about the commercialization stuff and just think about what makes YOU happy. Forget about what others insist you do, like or be happy whether friends, family or what strangers insist you’re supposed to be happy, do what makes you happy. If you are depressed, avoid alcohol, it only intensifies the depression. Do less. Do only what you are able to do. Expectations by others only stress us only more. Don’t expect any person or persons to do better or act better. If you have a friend or family member that is not treating us right, then they aren’t going to do better and right during the holidays. I have seen messages, not necessarily on ICHC and not any one person, that this message is for them. This is for everyone including myself. We all get caught up in the faux joviality created by commercialism. I want all my friends to be content and happy with themselves for this holiday. If any of my friends are very deeply depressed, please, please seek someone who can help you whether clergy, professional or a wise friend. I care for each and everyone of you. Why do we as people go out of our way to make ourselves uncomfortable in order to make sure the cat stays comfortable? Ill move a dog out of the way, Ill break my own leg before I make a cat move for me.

dis iz a blazt from mai pazt. Off lolspeak: My Aunt rose had the first kitteh I knew, named Tootsie. She would always climb up behind Aunt rose like this at dinner time. Tootsie was a calico and had 101 kittens during her life in the days before Spaying was advertised so much. My family only adopted 2 of her kittens over the years. I think I have such affection for cats because of the affection Tootsie and her “kids” showed me when I was a pre-schooler. Thanks, cheezfolks, for listening to my nostalgic self-analysis. We now return you to your regularly scheduled lol-ness.
p.s. No cat has ever jumped up on me and tried to bite off my ears, like some hyper goggies have tired to do.
