Yeah, they *are* Abyssinians. Two beee-yooo-teee-ful liddle Aby kittehs, and I wants them, precioussssses. What gorgeous babies! And what a gorgeous picture! The photographer is either super talented or super lucky or both, to catch both kittehs mid-yawn (er, sorry, I meant *mid-chorus*, of course!) like that.

Well, I’m sticking with my equally-cute (maybe a little less pretty) rescue kittehs, but if you google Abyssinian cats there’s tons of information about them, including national associations that may be able to help you find responsible breeders in your area. Or better yet, maybe there are breed-specific rescue organizations in your area that shelter Abys. Not that I can imagine anyone in their right mind abandoning or neglecting one of these cuties and having them end up in a shelter, but you never know, and getting a kitty from a shelter gives you a warm glowy feeling that never goes away. It gives the kitty a warm glowy feeling too, mainly because they’ll be all warm and glowy in a loving new home .
