an he haz tew go to teh horse-pittal ebbery day fur teh IV meds, an ai reely, reely doan want tew leave him. so, ai haz a big worried.

    • 5 eagles says:

I will offer tobacco tonight and pray for “troll”.sunnyhuckle.

      • sunnyhuckle says:

thank you, 5 eagles. I know in my heart it will come out all right, but sometimes…it just seems so hard.

      • sunnyhuckle says:

Can ai be askin personal question here, 5 eagles? is in reference tew yur name, and yur offer of tobacco. if iz private, ai respect that.

      • sunnyhuckle says:

So, ai will share my story with you. My daughter’s great grandmother was a full-blooded (iz correct phrasing?) Cherokee princess. I have seen her picture, she was very beautiful in her ceramonial dress. My daughter’s grandmother, rest her soul, took them every summer to Tallequa, Oklahoma, to the “Trail of Tears” Museum there. We all feel honor, and respect, and sorrow of their Cherokee heritage, and the obscenities against their tribe. My daughters both have their great-grandmother’s beautiful sad eyes. And our family feels great sorrow, but great pride, in my daughter’s heritage. And that was all I was going to say, and that if you are of American Indian heritage, I have respect for you. Is all.

        • OnleeKitteh says:

OH! SH! Ai fink wii may be cuzins, sorta? Mai great-grandmother was full Cherokee (but nawt princess). She came from Georgia or Tennessee on Trail uv Tears too (one uv da lastest groups) and settled in Kansas, den moved to Indian Territory (Oklahoma). My grandfather wuz borned dere in 1889. Ai always wondered why ai felt such affinity wif da Native Americans. Ai did nawt know my complete heritage till I wuz 50 when my Dad wuz nearing his last days. Ai haz an great pride too.

          • sunnyhuckle says:

I respect your pride, and your heritage, OnleeKitteh. Is not mine, but my daughter’s also. Maybe teh family exagerated with the “princess” title, maybe made it more acceptable, but from her tribal garb, she looked like a princess to me. Was so beautiful…an so much that was beautiful was destroyed…it makes my heart sad, but also proud, that the blood lives on in my beautiful daughters. But also makes me sad, to have been of the “white man” who destroyed so much beauty and culture. But, as with the black people, of whom my grandson is proudly one, was not my actions that did the deed. But, is maybe my responsibility to recognize what was done, and regret it in my forefather’s name.

            • OnleeKitteh says:

Yes – it’s hard to be of two cultures. I’m 1/2 Norwegian (mother), 1/2 Scot/Irish (father) plus 1/8 Cherokee (also father). “We” have done much damage to a number of great nations that can never be changed. We have to learn and go forward with caring, helping, and faith that we can change. The native clothes (of other cultures) are very beautiful and can make anyone look like a “princess” or very important person.

              • sunnyhuckle says:

But! was so much war and destruction in the past, regarding so many cultures and civilizations! Is not our burden to be responsible, but I always feel the need to learn, and understand. And maybe learning is the way to prevent the same in the future? I do not know, but I strive to learn and understand. And embrace, and assimilate. Is only a small step for sunny, but if it ever caught on, could be a great step for mankind, aifinkso, And where better to start, than ichc?

                • OnleeKitteh says:

absotivily, posilutely – keep learning is mai motto. If we do not study and try to understand uvvers, how can we understand ourselves? ICHC is a true melting pot and a very good “learning center” for mene fings. Ai lurke more dan ai posts, but sum times ai has to “chime in” (and sumtimes embarass self).
Ai iz off to read a bit before getting shuteyes fur werk tomorrow (pleh – but iz a gud job & ai iz hapitayle to haz one).

    • OnleeKitteh says:

Ohai {{{{{sh}}}}} I hadda same problem when hubby had strokes (him wuz diabetic too). He wuz okay, but I came home at noon 2 make sure he tested, took insulin & ate (did dis for 4 years). Den I went back to werk. Maybe you culd do sumfing liek dat? Den take him to get IV meds after werk? Or can gets sumwun to do home healf care for a couple uv hours? Ai know itz hard.

      • sunnyhuckle says:

Medicare works in strange and mysterious ways. Will send physical therapists to the house, but not nurses for the IV meds, although my aunt in Arkansas had Medicare, and they came to her house for IV meds 2 times a day. But I have to take him to the hospital every day for that…the whole story is on the Cheeztown Cryer, um, starts here

remove the spaces, and moves forward until recently

        • OnleeKitteh says:

Yes it does. I have followed you and tr0ll’s story frum beginning. (when I clicked on your blu naem it says “address not found” – so ai donut know where you are). Iz nawt fare dat Medicare not werks same eberywhere. Ai offers prayers and hopes that all will be otay.

        • keshet says:

Good luck, sunnyhuckle! In California we have In Home Health Support that can be accessed. I hope there is something similar near you. If that fails, call on family, friends, & neighbors. Another thing to look into is if working a modified schedule or working from home on some days might be an option.

          • keykat says:

Yes ask for help. When mom was sick tried to do it all. Big mistake. I would help anyone who asked (and have). Helping makes me feel good. So let others help you, as much for their own benefit as yours.

  18. Suzannah says:

Helloo Gryffindor colors are red and gold. Ravenclaw is the one that’s blue
    -_-;

    • Jynxie says:

But Gryffindor’s head turns into a cat, and said cat above is obviously female whilst the Ravenclaw head is a guy. And said cat also reminds me of McGonigal, so *Shrugs* I don’t really mind.
