I doubt there was ‘shopping on the picture. The keyboard is not photo-cropped; it is obscured by the front edge of the work surface above it. The keyboard is residing on a pull-out tray under the the main work surface, and the tray is not fully extended.

The black line you refer to is a sharp shadow produced by the strongest light source in the area. A camera flash or any high-intensity lamp would create a similar line.

The arrow key that you say is cropped is the right arrow symbol that appears on the bottom half of the 6 key on the number keypad on most keyboards.
