Because the owners of the site wanted to put it here. And since it’s their site, they’re entitled to put anything they want on it.
OK then … Why do they “want to” deliberately alienate most of their visitors, and confuse all the others, knowing fully well that the fewer visitors they have, the less money they make from ads?
Because MOST of the visitors here are mature enough to accept the fact that not everything in the world is going to please them every moment of every day. Most of us don’t demand that everyone else cater to what we want all the time.
