And here we have a classic case of People Not Understanding How ADD Works. Ritalin DOES NOT act as a sedative. All it does is substitute for dopamine to make it easier to stay focused on what’s at hand.
I think awareness of the fact that Ritalin is actually a psychostimulant doesn’t reduce the LOLworthiness of above pic – having had a fair bit of experience of kids with ADHD myself… but its true of any kind of “disorder”/illness/difference that if it doesn’t touch your life, most people usually know sweet FA about it – as frustrating as it can be to folks who have differences, there is unfortunately little motivation for the general populace to learn about such things. Humans are very frustrating like that, I prefer kittehs.
