LOL yeah I’d probably take at least the top two off the stack before eating any though. Kitties have a lot of germs in their mouth that I’m told aren’t that good for you. I will admit I cringed a bit, but only because the cat is eating off such a large stack that you know isn’t all for the cat. If he’d licked the others I’d ben cringing more though. They’d either have to be re-cooked to kill off the bacteria, or given to the dog or something. (But then, I don’t like to eat things other people have had their mouths on either – just makes me twitchy.)

Though I dunno how they can let the cats on the table like that. Bad enough when they demand pettings when you’re trying to do… everything else. Trying to get petted while I’m eating? That’s where I draw the line. lol Especially considering every cat I’ve known loves to do the tail-in-the-face (though one misplaced chomp and I guess they’d never get on the table again)

Why is everyone who points out that it’s unhygenic to eat off the same plate as a cat immediately labelled a troll? That’s just a fact, not an insult to cats. Sharing a plate with a human who licked the food all over and didn’t wash their hands after using the bathroom would be just as gross.

Never gotten sick yet from my cats stealing my food. Neither have the cats. And it’s been a loooong time I’ve been finding it more funny than horrifying when my cats act like brats…

Disgusting is all relevant. I consider pulling toxic smoke deliberately into one’s lungs disgusting, but I don’t go around saying that to every smoker I meet.
