Long story short, they had to put him to sleep and intubate and paralyze him so not to choke on tubes. Will prolly be in icu cupla days.Heart working to hard at breathing, afraid mite stop.

Not allowed to have cell phone on at work, and too busy to check voicemail…was driving home when I got a message from his boss at 2 pm wanting to know if he got to the hospital alright? was ANGRY! Hubby works nites an I work days, so are always passing or one is sleeping…did not know he was sick yesterday…sigh…prolly wud nawt hab mattered. Felt berry gilty.

Yep, adn you can generally call teh ICU staff to check on him pretty much any time–at least that’s been the case everywhere I’ve worked– so if you wake up at oh-dark-thirty with a bad feeling about things, you can call adn make sure he’z still all right.
