    Whoof! Ten kittehs! I wud liek to has taht menny, but I dont fink I cud wurk enuf howers to pay for all teh gushiefoods.

      Ohai, Zelkina! Kittehs is lyke that, ifinkso. We tries nawt to feed mah kitteh awl day long, but he lubbings teh noms. On a typikal day, he gits: fuds when I git up, a liddlol moar befoar I leevs for wurks, teh “noon nebbies” if wun of us is ther, fuds when I gits home frum wurks, treets or anuther smawl snak in teh evening, and then fuds befoar bed. Is awl smawl servings – he is only allowed a liddlol moar than a half kup of fuds per day. Is on a diet. :rolls eyes:

        I is lucky – I has a kitteh that self-porshuns his fud…
        He gets his dose of crunchiefuds in the morning, when we have breakfast – and it through the day!
        Him just gets a few eggstra treats at nite before we goes to bed…

    Scooz meh cheezfrends, ai sum badest uv noos.

    I got a call friday morning from a vet, my first and favourite Maine Coon had been found collapsed in a garden. We rushed to him but he had a huge clot and no blood flow to his back legs, although he was not in pain then, this was due to medication, he would without it have been in agony. There was nothing they could do, if it was normal paralysis I would have gotten him a wheelchair, anything, but we had no choice.

    I am afraid my grief is inconsolable , he was to be 3 years old this Thursday, his presents were already wrapped. I shall upload a picture if I have one this pc of beautiful boy onto my profile, please take a look and appreciate his pure wonderfulness.

    A part of me has died with him.

      Honey. :( I just lost MY Maine Coon Friday, but to ripe old age. Three is just…horrid. I feel so sorry for you. *hug* Anything we can do?

      {{{{{{TCM}}}}}} No wurds can help, but knowin yu are loved may be a cumfurt. Mah Maine Coone Emerson died of diabetes complications a few yeers ago an I still misses him. Yr lolfrenz cry wif yu.

      Big hugs to you. A Maine Coon was my second kitteh that was all mine and the first that I had to say goodbye to. He was nearly 18 and had thyroid disease.

      A kitteh who had wrapped presents for his birthday is a kitteh who was well loved and no doubt enjoyed his time on earth because of his wonderful mommeh.

Hold tight to the knowledge that, as short as his time with you was, you gave him a wonderful life, full of love and security. And know, too, that he was grateful to you for caring enough to end his pain, even at the cost of taking the pain into your own heart. We all know what it’s been like in our own lives, and we all stand with you in your grief.
