According to what little I’ve read about them, Munchkin cats like to sit up like this one is doing, and the overall look would fit that breed. Supposedly the mutation that gives the Munchkins their short legs doesn’t cause the back troubles that the analogous dog mutation does (e.g. in Corgis and dachshunds); so I don’t know whether it’s fair to call it a disabling deformity–any cheezpeeps have Munchkins? Do the cats get all frustrated ’cause they can’t jump as high or anything? As long as they’re indoor critters anyway, and not having to defend themselves from dogs & hostile cats, the short legs might not be a big hassle.

This to me looked like the “Twisty Kats” that are bred in such a way that they cannot stand on their front two paws and thus sit up like that most of the time, and have to hop around on their hind legs.
