When I was in teh college we usedta get a case of Iron City Light for about a dollar fitty. Then we used our leaved-over quarters to play quarters wif. That was teh nasty beer. Pleh.

We used those once upon a time at Mom’s house — until a littlol mausie gotted stuk onnit. Him wuz alibe & well & terrified — an nun uv us kud bear to actually kill teh littlol fing. Ai finally tayked teh trap wif the mausie onnit into teh bak yard & gently poured warm soapy waddur around himz littlol paws until him kud get free. Ai iz still horrified to fink hao skared teh littlol fing wuz. It givs meh a sad just finkin abowt it — and dat had to be 15 yeerz ago or so.
Someone told me to use cooking oil to free the mousies from the sticky traps. Don’t know if it works – I’ve not had a mouse in my apartment for a while.
do a google search on “humane mouse trap”.
You’ll need a bucket and a short cardboard tube (like from a roll of toilet paper), and a stack of books or something. Make a “stairway” to the top of the bucket with the books. Put some peanut butter in one end of the TP tube, and place it so that the baited end hangs over the bucket. Leave overnight.
Mouse will go up stairs, go into tube to get peanut butter, tube will tip and mouse will fall in bucket. Remove mouse in the morning.
Don’t use a paper towel tube, like we did, because the tube will be long enough to let the mousie crawl up out of the bucket. *eyeroll*
