My apologies if that sounded flip. I was trying to put as brave a face on the whole thing as possible. I know losing a beloved family member is never easy on anyone in the house (including the other furry family members). But now Max can run and play in the Meadow with nothing hurting & nothing sapping his energy.

Xena, the tabby in the box in this picture, was a healthy cat for eleven years but died of cancer last summer.
