i firmly believe in the power and efficacy of prayer and good thoughts, so please, please, please keep them coming.

There is good news and bad news. The good news is that Shadow is doing well without oxygen and they might let me bring her home tomorrow. The bad news is that they found nodes in her liver and pancreas also, so they are beginning to talk about chemotherapy and palliative care.

the doctors were able to drain and reinflate Shadow’s lungs, so she’s breathing much better. she still has to stay at the hospital, but she was well enough that they let me come in to visit her and bring her a blankie from home. more tests tomorrow, but she is out of critical and down to guarded condition.
