I don’t actually think Maru is a fat cat.
He’s greatly in proportion with himself. No low hanging tummy. or tiny head and great big body, and his paws are quite large also.
Me thinks this cat is just stocky, and muscular. Hence the odd box jumping. I’m pretty sure a fat cat wouldn’t have the energy to jump that high over and over again.
