      one of my IRL friends found out that at the local county shelter, they accept donations that go specifically towards helping black cats get adopted. They have a fund that provides a “discount” to anyone who decides to adopt a BC. They don’t tell people about it until they *choose* a BC of course, but the ones who are smart enough to do so get a nice surprise!
