Hey everybody — the bad news that turned into good news is again bad news. My son Matt’s Leukemia is definately back. The genetic testing proved it. So, he will have to have a bone marrow transplant some time in the future.

Right now they still need to get the fungal infection under control before they totally zap his immune system. My sweet baby boy is very brave and he says, OK, lets just get it done. He has resolved to himself that he most likely not be playing basketball in the fall. Now we jsut have to hope for a very close match and little host/donor problems.
As always, I hope to be here to help keep my spirits up, even if I am not posting as much — you guys still keep me laughing.
