One of his blood cultures from last Thursday came back positive and he started running a fever on Sunday. He was admitted late Sunday night. it looked like he would be going home today, but he spiked a fever last evening so he is here until at least tomorrow. he is also positive for C-Diff (the yucky intestinal bacteria that he gets everytime he is in the hospital. The antibiotics kill off the good gut bacteria and the C-Diff takes over.)
He had some blood blisters on his arms they have been watching since his last amission. They lanced one but so far it looks OK, they are growing a culture. Dr. was worried they might be harboring leukemia cells — but they were not.
Matt feels bad and is very frustrated. Keep up the good thoughts and prayers.

I didn’t know where the phrase came from and neither did my brother. He just read it somewhere and thought it was funny and told me and I liked it so much I thought it would be cool to adapt it into a lol. If I knew who wrote the original I would quote them and credit them but unfortunately I don’t (I’ll try looking for them now).
