Welcome kittyknitty! I’m learning to knit (well, I bought a kit, anyway). Sometimes it’s ok to not want to lolspeak sometimes.
My kitteh crossed the bridge a few weeks ago. She was quite a bit older than we thought. But before we got our (not second) cat, I was always a dog person. But, as I’ve matured a bit, my heart now includes kittys. Next time we gets one, it will be a kitty and puppy. No more taking over someone else’s older cat. It’s just too hard. The not second one, Rikki was with us only 10 months. He was given to us free by owners who knew he was sick. But I think he was waiting for us because he jumped in our laps when we (not second) met. Mdme. Mueshka was my sister-in-law’s cat, but when she got married, her husband had a cat, too. Mueshka didn’t get along with either of them, so we got her two weeks after Rikki passed. I wasn’t ready yet, but my hubby insisted. She was about 10 at the time. That was six years ago. Time really does fly when you has kids and pets. The really funny bit? Everybody in the family was trying to be her human, but guess who she picked? The person who tried to ignore her the most–me. I always called her a stoopid cat (still do), but now the phrase is affectionate. I miss her the most. *scuse me, need a tissue*
BTW everybody uses (nawt seccond) here because it’s considered rude and noobish behavior to claim the first comment and say “first”. You can say almost any other thing but that. It does take awhile to get used to the LOLspeak, but once you get the hang of it, it’s fun!
