Kinda poynyant story bout my Esme: When she started to decline she stopped eating her gushifuds. But she was still innerested when I offered her something else, like some shredded-up beef cubes and a jar of bebbehfuds I happened to has on hand (good for sick kittehs). So I made a special trip to teh stoar to gets some moar bebbehfuds for her to has. I buyed like 10 jars, not knowing how long she would need them. I served her some that night and she sed “no thx” because she was alreaddy starting to shut down. I tried a few moar times to tempt her before she went into hiding, but no go. Two days later she was gone.
So even though it was teh stressful knowing what was going on, on some level I hadda laff at teh fact that because of her I buyed all this bebbehfuds because she had eated some teh day before, only to get stuck wif them. Is typical kitteh thing!
Oh and I knoes I can freecycle teh fuds. Is just teh funny in a u-has-to-have-been-there kinda way.

O LCB….Ai was so sorree to hear about Esme. {{{{{lcb and Esme}}}}}} She now to the Bridge and will enjoy the meadow and byand by, you will see her agin like by and by Ai will Missy B. You loved her so much and took care of the greating you could take of her. Sometimes, we do have to do the greatest love we can and that is to let go. It doesn’t make it any beddur to loser pain but we know CC is there to help our payne.. LCB, Ai greive wif u. Thx, KCT. It has been a vry big halp to know that teh Cheezpeeps send their loves and supports. I do miss Esme, but I is moar relieved that she is all better now and so even though I cannot hold her and snorgle her anymoar I is teh happy that she is happy again.
Liam is doing ok too. For teh first few days that he was Home Alone while I was at work he was teh vry glad to see me and talked and talked and talked. Now he is a little moar used to it. We’ll probably gets another kitteh sometime soon, but for now we is both adjusting as well as we can.

I reeded a book once by a vet specializing in cats and he is teh one that recommended “baby beef” for invalids. I think teh one jar I had on hand was leftover from Esme’s surgery last April, in case she had appetite issues. She did not.
Just for future reference, freecycle dot org is a good way to get rid of (or get!) stuff that is not throw-awayable or not quite appropriate for Goodwill.

Esme was indead a vry speshul kitteh, and not just because she was mines. In teh last year she hadded surgery to remove a malignant growth then went through chemo for aobut 8 months. Evrybuddy at teh referral vet where she had surgery and chemo absolutely lurved her. When they sended me a sympathies card last week, it was signed by everybuddy, wif individual messages, not just one person singing for all.
