pea ess: once i planted a garden with seeds which i dream’d would
gro into beautimuss plantz. i werked on it in gud weather, but
neglected it more and more as the days grew hotter and life happened while I was making other plans.
[cue harp music] time pas’d.

I ignored the garden, because when i looked out my window all I could see in that flower bed was a tangle of weeds; this depressed me so much i just quit looking out that window.

Then, one day i saw a flash of color out of the corner of my eye. I went closer to that patch 0 weeds, and found, lo and behold,
flowers hiding under the weeds…enough for a happy bouquet!
This inspired me to carefully weed that garden and it gave me much joy. Yes, the plants were stunted; yes, they probably would have produced bigger, better flowers if I had done it right. And yes, i reaped weeds from
“sowing” neglect, but I also reaped flowers, they were just hiding
behind the weeds from the seeds of neglect.
Maybe you just have to wait a bit, catch a glimpse of color out of the corner of your eye, and then look for the flowers. I know you sowed them.
