KCTailkinker has been transferred to another hospital in the same system, one that has an inpatient rehabilitation facility. I went to see her today, and she was in good spirits and continuing to improve. Although she still has trouble finding the right words, she’s getting them more often than she was even Tuesday, with enough time to try several out. She was asleep when I got there, but woke up soon after, and didn’t have even a brief period of disorientation – she knew who I was immediately. A nurse came in while I was there to check her oxygen level; she said the sleep study last night went very well, and since her oxygen level was good, she was taking her off the oxygen list. KCT didn’t have any IVs in, and was able to sit up in bed without the support of the bed, or any help getting into a sitting position. Things are looking great!

Kitsunerina, 2 weeks ago ai had an innosent liddul slip on teh ice adn ai borked a bone in mai leg adn a bone in mai anklol, adn tore ligaments in mai anklol, adn ai cud still move mai toesez. Ai do wish yoo wud go to teh unibersity helth center or teh horsepiddle and get ur anklol x-rayed!
Butt is gud yoo are keeping it elevated adn iced (10 minutes on, 10 minutes off). Alos, trai nawt to put enny wate onnit (is hard, ai noe).
