I agree. I love looking and laughting at the lol cats (although I don’t lolcat-speak) but some of the pics really upset me. If all these people on here really do like cats, why aren’t they more concerned about the conditions and situations some of these poor little beasties are in? I don’t get it…. I understand that we don’t know the context of the situation but, still, why even post a pic in which the animal is so obviously in distress? It is heartless to laugh at their pain and fear.

I don’t understand your reply. There is blood under his nose and cuts next to his eye; indicators of distress. Hopefully, he’s a feral who just caught a live lunch but that doesn’t explain the blood by his eye and, regardless, he’s still scared. Shame on anyone who tries to write “funny’ captions for disturbing photos. I’m off to visit my favorite animal rescue sites, where the folks actually care about animals in miserable situations and DO SOMETHING to help, not just ridicule them.
