Yes, I has seen kittehs do this. Dexter lykes to lie down in teh fresh litter when itz brand noo and kleen. He also taykes his toys to play in teh litterbox sometimes – especially in the one litter box that has a kuvver over it (iz like playing hide and seek, I finkso).

With my furst kitteh, Grem, he only lay in teh litterbox when he wuz verreh sik or feelin poorly. He wuz gud kitteh hoo never went to bathroom except in teh litter box. I think he felt like being kloser to teh litter box ment he wuld be rite ther if he needed it.

Yoo kin tell if kitteh is just playing in litterbox and enjoying it (especially when kleen) vs. when they is nawt feelin gud and goes & hangs owt ther to be “sayf.”

I has never seen any of my kittehs put their mices in teh fuds or teh watters! However tehy (well one of em ennyway) puts teh dry fuds in teh waters.

Semi OT, but in teh nayborhud, I has an appalled sometiems at Gummi, who will lay down on teh littur in teh litturboks sometiems! Has u seen kittehs do that befores?

Yogi kitteh eats himz toy mices tayls as well and seems to be fine.
I has never seen him eating a tayl but most of the toy mices lose their
tayls aftah encounters with the boss kitteh and then himz loses
inturest in the taylless mice.
I has theory, mebbe real mice tayls is delishus and nootrishus if U iz a
kitteh and our kittehs is hard wired to go aftah deh tayls!

Ohai, glad to heer yor kittehs has nawt bin harmed by tayl-eeting. I has not yet notissed any signs uv distress (and teh tayls is felt, and very small). I finks wuld pass rite throo a kitteh. . . .

Dexter liks and liks teh maus, and noms and noms it. When teh maus is in bad shayp, I throws it away. I also wurries abowt him eeting teh hole thing! Especially teh smaller myces.

When he dunks it in himz water bowl, it mayks it eezier to brayk it apart and ruin it. So when I givs heem a maus to play with, we now tayks away teh water bowls till he’s dun.

Mebbe part raccoon? Dunkin teh toy maus in teh water. Hmm.

*nods hed* Yes, I had an orinj kitteh wunz. When I mayd fettuccine, mah Grem and I wuld eet teh mushrooms sawtayd in buttah together. Wuz teh fun. I wuld sneak wun for me, and then wun for teh kitteh, wun for me, wun for teh kitteh. Well, yoo mite guess in teh end ther wuzzint menny buttah-sawtayd mushrooms in teh pasta!

Mah noo kitteh Dexter noms on lots uv things. I kawt heem eeting teh liddel felt tayl off his floofy rattly toy maus over teh weekend. I notissed awl teh toy mices wuz lakking tayls, but figgered he just rippt them orf and hid them. Nao I noes teh awful trooth!

Cheez-peeps, advice plz: Duz yoo think I shuld remove teh maus tayls befoar giving him teh toys? Dexter duz nawt seem to be having enny prollem over this, but shorly it cannawt be gud for heem!!! Kthx!
