Hard foods clean a cat’s teeth, much like apples clean human teeth. And cats can metabolize sugar, just smaller amounts than people. A graham cracker isn’t going to kill it, or even hurt it worse than maybe a little tummy ache.

cats, like other carnivores, weren’t designed to metabolize graham crackers. feeding junk food to animals that aren’t supposed to eat it because we find it amusing is not a good excuse to do it.
perhaps you should grab an education, apples don’t clean human teeth which is why dentists don’t recommend brushing with them any more than with cubes of sugar and acid.
and felines can eat hard foods–like bones not cookies.
… You’ve never heard that apples clean your teeth? Seriously? And graham crackers are probably one of the best “junk foods” you can eat. Notice I said MAYBE a tummy ache. If it makes the cat happy and it doesn’t hurt, then by all means let it eat a damn cracker.

I don’t know why people are so up in arms about the cat being fed a graham cracker. Dry cat food is generally made of grain material after all. Also, even though cats are carnivores(obligate carnivores to be specific!) they need at least a small amount of plant material for vitamins and minerals because unlike wild carnivores they don’t consume prey. Prey animals are generally herbivores and so consuming them balances a carnivore’s diet and keeps them healthy. I’d honestly be more worried about feeding my cat processed meat(and processed cat food for that matter) than feeding it a graham cracker.

i like how you seem to think dry cat food is good for them. most dry cat foods are filled with all kinds of stuff that cats dont digest very well and even the better ones are still a hard pellet that wears their teeth down faster because they should be slicing and tearing meat, not grinding down hard pellets their entire lives. Ask any vet about dental disease in older cats because of this. i like how you tacked on that it was cute at the end. attention pet-owners, if you make a video of yourself feeding your cat something it shouldnt have, make sure its cute and we’ll overlook it?
