I was irritated by it too, but rest assure, I’m sure that kid had a good cry after falling into the soup.

Really it’s not the kids’ fault, it’s the parents. Of course, I’m sure nobody wants me going into another rant about stupid parents..so I’ll just leave now.

The parents may not have had much warning. The cat was clearly fine with just being carried around, and kids that age often do screwy things with little warning. And as it was, that kid learned a valuable lesson!

PS: I can’t slow-mo the vid, but I’m pretty sure it was the force of the cat’s jump that tipped the kid into the drink.
