I hads moar migraine today, too. Not as bad as yesterday (no barfing!) but it dint go way until midday. It looks like Tuesday has a bad “aches and pains” forecast, too. I’m gonna take something preveentative on Monday night.

Duz u feel lyk u has hangober teh day aftur a migraine? I do, an iz weered feelin.
When I gets teh weather hedaches I feels like I has a hangover *during*. I is teh queasy and teh sensitive to odors and teh mere thot of drinking lolcohol makes me ill. I takes teh meds that work best for me and then usually lapse into a coma-like sleep for several hours. When I wake up I am usually so much better that peeps who doesn’t has migraines think I was teh faking. Although, yeah, I has a little extry tired or weakness or soemthing after.
My migraines are the worst if I wake up in the morning with them. If I feel one coming during the day, I take an Imitrex an it usually knocks it out before it gets full blown. If I wake up with it, ti’s usually full blown already and all I can do is take an Imitrex, go back to bed and keep things dark and quiet.
There is a direct line of migraine sufferers in my family – me, mom, her mom, and her mom’s mom. They seem to be related to hormones somehow, because my migraines showed up about the same time that everything else did and those who have been through “the change” seem to have far fewer migraines than before that happened.

Ai tes hab tew stay away frum alkyhol wen wun iz upon meh (damnit). Quiet and dark iz definitely uh gud cure, sleep iz beddur. Mai fambilee az awkyoozed meh ob habin narcolepsy coz wen ai git the trailers in mai eyes ai fall asleep almost immediately. Ai fink iz uh defense mechanism. Ai hoap ai doan git wun todai coz there’s enuff noise and chaos tew wake teh ded arownd here…and ai wuldn’t wanna miss uh moment ob it.

Same here: I usually wake up wif teh and it’s already too late to do much about it.
My headaches now are mostly weather-related. I used to get them when I was on teh Pill, and around “that time” too. When I went off it they stopped or at least became moar infrequent. Thanks to surgery I don’t have “that time” anymore but I do still have my ovaries so “that time” still happens, hormone-ally speaking. It could be that more severe headaches, like yesterday’s, coincide with that other cycle.

I was sorry to lose my baby-maker, but it wasn’t doing me any favors. I was glad though that my Dr. GYNyCat took care to leave my ovaries and cervix. Even though that meaned that I had to has moar surgeries recently to remove a growth from teh cervix. U rember, teh procedure wif teh smoke.
I was checking my messages earlier today and finded that I had a call from a week ago from teh reggaler Dr. TinyCat’s office about teh results of some blud tests. I don’t know how I missed it before, but now I may has to wait until Monday before I can call them back to find out. I’m hoping it’s something vry minor. I’ve had enough pleh to last me for quite a while alreddy.
