She has been sleeping in the corner of my room for a few days now (the other two on top of me, Tut on a pile of laundry in the corner) and when I got up and went into the bathroom, she followed and let me reach down and skritch her. This was a first!

The only other time I’ve heard of teh tradition of saying “Christmas Gift!” was when reading a biography of Harriet Tubman when I was a lolkittenburglar. It was tradition for teh slaves on teh plantation to greet the plantation owner on Christmas Day with “Christmas Gift, Master!” and they were rewarded with a small gift of some sort. That doesn’t sound too happy when u rly think about it, but mabye teh greeting was a Southern tradition in those days?
I used to work wif a lady whose sisters and her would try to be teh first one to call each other up on teh first of every month and say “Rabbits, rabbits, rabbits!” She didnot knoes why they dids that, but it was teh fun for them.
(I is watching teh “A Christmas Story” and when I was riting that paragraph about rabbits, it was teh scene wif Ralphie in teh bunny soot!)
