As for Intelligent Design having a point… I’ve got a long way to go before I can wrap my head around the whole “young Earth” concept. And as for the post being about 9/11 conspiracies… well… Honestly I couldn’t really tell what side of that fence you were on. And conspiracy theories … of any kind… really hurt my head. Yes, I believe that Bisphenol-A is a terrible plastic additive … what were they thinking… and I have taken many steps t eliminate it from my personal world (though I can’t speak for what’s lining the cans of catfood I buy…argh!) I don’t believe that homosexual people are particularly inclined to appoint other homosexual people to offices just because of their particular interests… any more than straight people are likely to appoint of similar interest in similar circumstances. So I’m even quite willing to make a mental eye-roll at my favorite person in the whole world.

Now, now. Just because he hasn’t used his braincells the way we do, doesn’t mean he’s not intelligent. In fact, I find the most intelligent people ever are often going ’round and ’round in their own heads with issues about politics and suchlike.

My botany professor, the most intelligent person I’ve ever met, is absolutely convinced that mold is from other planets, and that the presence of bad plastic additives within the environment and water supply has caused a sort of gay nepotism within most political postings, such as the ones at the university. (It’s ‘nepotism’, because after all “We are Family!” is how the song goes, right?)

I think that the world doesn’t hold enough interesting things for smart people’s extra zappy braincells to work on, some of us get involved in ICHC, others make blogs about how intelligent design really does have a point there. Some of us even go on in life to teach LKSL-101 classes and then major in Molecular Biology, all the while being a crazy cat lady who finds things in the road and keeps them. (see my blog for details, sorry.)

So, it’s not that he’s *not intelligent*, it’s actually that he’s got so much extra time and need for entertainment that he’s starting arguments on the internet with crazy cat people.

It’s a hobby, don’t get me wrong… just a hobby that not all of us appreciate.

Maybe, Notedscholar, if you had a kitty, you would understand better. You are probably allergic, and I understand that very well. Try feeding your kitty Wellness canned catfood, it’s actually very good and reduces the dander/shedding.
