I know teh trubble lies wif my bro. My reaction to his note was not to have an angry but to have a sad because of all teh bad stuff that we grew up with that makes it hard for us to talk to each other and then the bad feelings that come when there are certain expectations but no underlying communication. I rited to my SIL to axe how best to approach him to has a conversation and not a confrontation and she showed him whut I writed. She told me he was sprized that I was so positive in my response and he will write to me in a few days when hes’ had times to think. So it might be ok after all.

Teh bro and his wife has been by default teh ones to deal first with her mommeh in her final illness and with my mommeh and daddeh, both in their 70s. I live a few states away and my other bro lives in teh same city as all of the above but travels a lot for work. My ‘rents sold their house this year and moved into a condo, with the halp of my bro and SIL. Now that there is a lull in their ‘rent wrangling duties, he is tired. Understandably, but he is blaming me and the other bro for not halping but as I sed, there was never any indication that it was needed and every time I talked to my mommeh she always sed everything was fine, or at least under control. My bro said some ugly things which I’m sure he’ll regret, but I have had a hard year of my own dealing with things he doesn’t know about and this does NOT halp anything.
