That’s a dumbo eared rat, BTW. I have two dumbo eared and two regular eared ratties.

I loff that teeny, tiny teddy bear! I’m sure the rat chewed him to shreds after the picture was taken, though. They love to chew.

Always get at leest two rattehs- tey are very very social and ef you cannot be around dem all day, dey will need at least one more ratteh to keep dem companies. Three are better den two, and aar no moar trouble den two.

Buy teh biggest cage you can afford, giev dem tons of toys, and prepaer to be entertained. We called our cage teh “Rat TV.” Tho you must bewaer of “rat math, ” ware you end up getting moar and mor until you has the max rattehs taht your cage will comfortablesly hoeld.
