My cat Lucy (aka Pubcat) used to do this when she wasn’t an 18 pound moose cat.

She’d get on the Roomba and step all over it until she hit the right button to start it up. Once she heard the “Roomba is starting up” beeps she’d sit down on it and ride it all over the floor. She actually learned to keep stepping on buttons until the right beeps came out of it.

I had to put the Roomba under something or I’d have to hunt for it when i got home.

Lucy’s sister Ethel ignored the Roomba unless it tried to run her over.
