We haz 3 skunks dat eats here. Mai huzbin likes dem, and won’t trap dem to moves dem. wii took teh amtrak trayn owt frum Syracuse N.Y., gotted off in Oceanside. Mai boikitteh iz a Lego fanatic, nad wen ai offered tew take him tew Disneyworld, him sayd him want to go tew Legoland in CA instead, sew wii did! nawt hab lawts uv tyme off werk, trayn ryde wuz 3 dais dere adn 3 dais back, onlee had 4 dais in CA, spent 2 at Legoland, adn wun at SanDiego Zoo. Want tew go back adn see more!! Especially teh Wild Animal Park ai loves teh tigers! It nawt get to 40 below here eggscept wid teh wind chill, but it can get below zero adn wii gets LAWTS uv snow. Wii had snow on teh ground on Halloween, usually hab snow around til April…

ok, i haz sitchewayshun taht i culdnt ebe find on goooogle!! mebbee teh cheezpeeps kan help. qwik revyoo: shiro an kumo getting along, tehn not getting along so gud cawz i fink shiro finkd taht kumo smelld bad, tehn finally just starting to get along agin. ok, dis morning abowt 4:30 kumo wuz in all night an going “owtowtowtowtowtowtplznowowtowtowt” so we letted him owt onto teh patio. abowt 30 sekunds later, HORRORBUL YOWLING!!1!!! i jumpd bak owt ob bed an runnd!!! i thotted taht kumo an shiro wuz fighting!! but shiro wuz still inside; on patio i seed kumo an nayborhood cat hoo comes arownd bossy an agressive sumtimes, they’s tussling an kumo haz big mess on himz sides an also on teh patio. i finked iz blud, opend dore an chased off bad cat an kumo runned in. i katched kumo right before him wented under teh bed. it iznt blud on him, iz POOP!!! an teh most godawful smell, like cat spray an poop mixed togevver times 5!!! frum teh ovver cat, ob corse. so we gibbed kumo a baf at 4:30 in teh morning (furst time in my life i eber gibbed kitteh a baf! – yoozed my boi’z alberto vo5 shampoo, didnt haz kitteh shampoo) an kleened him up az best we culd. trubble iz, kumo must still smell like BAD CAT cawz shiro bein frendly, tehn sniffed at kumo’s sides wher teh stinky mess wuz an gotted all unfrendly agin. no hissing, but yowling an batting an DO NOT WANT.

so, qwestion iz, any way to finish kleening teh Bad Cat Poo smell off ob kumo? or just wayt for it to wear off?
hab u tried bineagar? White apple seems less harsh. Dis is a mild acid and disinfectant, so u’ll vant to wash kitteh again with mild soap or shampoo… mebeh “dove” since it has some conditioner in eet?

Odder fing to try (butt nawt wif the bineagar!) wud be make paste of baking soda an water, and mix well wif da kitteh’s fur, den rinse wall. Butt don do dis and bineagar, since it reactz BIG

Wen da skunks do da smelz on dogs you can wash dem wit peroxide mixture.
Here da recipe….1 quart peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda 1 teaspoon liquid soap.
Sposed to neutralize da bad smelz. I hab recipe on my frigerator in case da skunks sprays da outside kittehs or meh. I nebber used it tho on da kittehs, but is supposed to work good. so I would not let dis get in Kumo’s eyes just in kase peroxide could sting.

If you washy Kumo in deh bakey soda an wader, deh tinky mell be gone way, I tink so. Can eben jush brush Kumo wif it, powder kitteh, den brush out, bakey soda gud tu tak bad bad mells off.

taht sownds like gud way to get shiro to like kumo agin! wen i wuz reeding abowt ovver problum, abowt how sudden chanje ob smell kan make wun kitteh unhappy wif ovver kitteh, sownded like can take a long time eben after smell wears off for kittehs to start getting along agin! we just gotted kumo in september. remeow reskyood him, but culdnt keep him wif her ovver kittehs, we lib just down teh freeway frum her an wanted companyun for shiro, so adopted kumo. haz had long road wif getting kumo un-stressed, tehn getting shiro, hoo iz kinda nerbus an hi-strung anyway, to accept him, tehy wuz doing gud. an now dis. *sigh* tehy not haz to be bff, just wants tehm to co-exist peesefully an play chase sumtimes.
