We tuk da lil kitehs to da mos exshullent doktor an de opurashuns all went okay. Nobodies has any kindz of hurtz or problims. De sweet lil kittehs steel using dey front feetz to mark dey territoriez. Wun ob mai kittehs eben caught de birdie wen de berdie flew inna house. (Ai shood say alla mai kittehs r insida-da-howse kittehs….)
BUT . . . .
eben doe de sweet lil kittehs don seem to mine nawt habbin dey clawsez, eet does be botherin mee. Eet gibs me a sad an ai weel nawt do eet agin. Da nex tiem, ai weel moving mai howse an tellin de ebil landlaydee to go to de Basement Cat.

4k-3 = 3k +4 meens there is some majik number wif teh alias ‘k’taht if you times it bai 4 and tehn taek away 3, yu gets teh saem thing as if you times it bai 3 an adds in 4.

solushun #1: trai doing teh above to every number starting wif 1 until yu gets teh one wehr it works. tihs wil not pleez teechur much but wil works. unless answer iz a fracshun.

solushun #2: negotiate wif both sieds of ekwashun (bein scrupulously fair to do saem ting to each sied) until yu gets teh k all bai itsef lookin across teh = at a number wihch shud b teh rite answer.

OffissCatClyde (my avatar) had softpaws – he “sharpened” his claws on every desk chair in my office, and not a one has a mark! They wear off as the nail grows out, but they are really pretty cheap. Definitely worth it.

The laser tipping is good too – mai mom did that with FredTheDog(who is a cat.) relatively painless, and no relearning how to jump … and land!

The boicats I sit for aren’t declawed, and they did many munnies(thowsands) of damage before they learned what they could scratch and what they shouldn’t …

If u removify teh “-3″ by adding 3 to each side of teh equashun, u gets:

4k=3k+7

Then u subtract 3k from each side and u gets:

4k-3k=7, or k=7
