All my kittens r spoken for, and I’m taking them to their noo homes Caturday morning. I has a happy and a sad, same time! Butt I diegress.
The person hoo is taking teh calico mentioned she wud be declawing hur. This give me a big sad and a queasy. I alreddy had told her she could has the kitty, and has teh switch all arranged. I’m temped to back owt tho. I hate to think of this kitteh being declawed. Am I crazee? Shud I just be happy she’s getting a home wif someone hoo will love her? This lady just had to put hur last kitteh down a month or so bak, and it was very hard for her and I know she’s lukking forward to loving a noo kitteh.

And tehy bocce’d the job. Hur claw started regrowing under her pads and she hads to be re-declawed at 9 yr of age. It was -horrible- .

If you do not live there, give them a call anywhay…713-524-3800, ask for Jessica, she will tell you all about the lazur and why it is better for da kittah….hopes dis helps you….and if the lady will not do the lazur, then do not give da kittah to her. who cares about da lady’s feelings…what about da kittah’s feelings when they cut off the last knuckle of her toes…cuz that is what is going to happen. kittah in pain is always much worse than selfish owners’ feelings.

Jus mak sure laidy takes kitteh 2 a gud vet who is careful and uses teh anestetic and all–no want declaw on teh cheep. Mite nawt b so bad, and kitteh will lurv teh laidy and laidy will lurv teh kitteh and all will b rainbows and happy.
jus thot–if its hur apartment making hur 2 declaw teh kitteh, she should ask if teh softpaws turtlol says r ok alternative. My apartment said ok and I no declaw mi kittehs. Sum will take xtra deposit insted of declaw 2. She should ask.

OffissCatClyde (my avatar) had softpaws – he “sharpened” his claws on every desk chair in my office, and not a one has a mark! They wear off as the nail grows out, but they are really pretty cheap. Definitely worth it.
The laser tipping is good too – mai mom did that with FredTheDog(who is a cat.) relatively painless, and no relearning how to jump … and land!
The boicats I sit for aren’t declawed, and they did many munnies(thowsands) of damage before they learned what they could scratch and what they shouldn’t …
