Ohai agin, cheez-peeps! Heer is mah update. Lolspeak off furaminnit:

Some good news.

My new husband is now safely in the hands of medical professionals who handle this type of medical crisis stuff on a routine basis. We are peaceful now, knowing he is getting the very best care.

The doctor told him the huge abscess is SHRINKING!! With continued antibiotics and a few days’ rest, they may be able to drain the abscess now, send him home, and do the more major surgery on his intestines at a later date when he is stable.

As of the day of our wedding, my husband is completely covered by my excellent medical insurance. Oh, and my groom’s dad promised to pay for the first hospital bill ($11 thousand for a 2-day stay!) as our wedding present.

Cheez-peeps, I thank you for your support and your loving thoughts. I will share more news as I have it, and I will hope to be back online having fun with all of you sometime soon.
